Launching Havvind.no was vital to providing stakeholders with quality-assured, research-based information. The brand's credibility and transparency were key to fostering trust and driving investment in Norway's offshore wind market.

Looking to stand out from its competitors, Havvind engaged frog. By leveraging Havvind's expertise, using a targeted launch campaign and initiating robust digital marketing, frog strategically positioned the Havvind website to clearly communicate Havvind’s comprehensive services and unique benefits for clients. The aim here was to elevate the brand, solidify its market-leading status and accelerate the recognition of Havvind.no as a trusted knowledge hub in the industry.

With frog as a partner, the website and new identity successfully launched, providing comprehensive information about offshore wind investments in Norway. But it was clear this was just the beginning. To evolve into a dynamic platform impacting the sector, Havvind.no needed visibility and the right audience. As such, frog initiated a vital targeted launch campaign with Capgemini co-branding at the Offshore Wind Days in Haugesund and the ONS Conference 2024 in Stavanger. This early momentum was maintained with a robust digital marketing strategy.

ESG sub-target 17.6 (knowledge sharing and cooperation for access to science, technology and innovation) is our most significant achievement. frog built a product with the purpose of exactly this–sharing trustworthy and science-based information on the environmental, technological and political aspects of offshore wind energy.

frog also helped launch the web page with a successful marketing and communication strategy. Of course, the project is in itself promoting affordable and clean energy (goal no. 7), but our work for the client is a more direct contribution to ESG goal 17.

From unknown to essential

Havvind has transformed from an unknown entity to a significant player in the Norwegian and international offshore wind market. This success is due to its increased visibility, sizable repository of market-specific content and a brand toolbox that is expertly designed.

Today, the platform provides professionals, journalists, and the general public with everything they need to know about the offshore wind industry and all its related policies.
