At the NY Product Conference last fall, Daniel Burka from Google Ventures (GV) gave a talk about design sprints (made popular by the book Sprint, written by his GV colleagues). During the Q&A, someone asked, “How often should we run design sprints?”
His response: “Probably about once per quarter.”
Yikes. In our business, we need to run them much more frequently. In fact, we need design sprints to be the foundation of our entire design process.
