June 5 : Anthony Pannozzo, Executive Creative Director, is speaking at the Tide Conference in Las Vegas. Anthony will draw on his expertise in experience strategy and customer experience design for his talk entitled “The Intersection of Content & Customer Experience.”
June 6 : Lindsey Mosby, VP of frogHealth, will sit on the Advisory Board for the fourth annual d.Health Summit hosted in collaboration by the University of Rochester and West Health. The forum brings together technology leaders, entrepreneurs, financiers, senior care advocates and policymakers to exchange ideas, forge new relationships and foster disruptive technological and process innovations to improve the lives of the nation’s aging population.
June 8 : Kevin Cannon, a principal designer from frogMunich will be at Product Camp in Poland. Kevin’s talk “The Invisible Hand Behind Design” will address questions such as: Why do router interfaces always suck? Why do old buildings look better? And crucially, why are there pineapples on buildings all over London? Kevin looks at how many hidden factors such as economics, materials and wages have had a surprising influence on design over the centuries, and how that’s still happening today. With his talk, Kevin posits that as designers seek to be involved in ever more important product and service decisions, it’s critical for them to become aware of and articulate about the macro-trends that affect their work.
June 10 : Chiara Diana, an Executive Creative Director in frogMilan, will be speaking at UX Strat in Amsterdam. Her talk “Entertaining Ideas: Igniting UX Innovation at BT TV” will highlight the award-winning work that frog did with the UK telcom giant in redesigning their entire ecosystem of products and services for improved user experience.
June 11 : a team of frogs including Sara Manzini (design researcher), Stefania Marcoli (principal director, design for healthcare) and Chiara Diana (creative director), present the panel “Care Pathway Blueprint,” which outlines a tool that helps introduce new technologies to enable effective health care improvement
June 11 : Thomas Sutton will be delivering the keynote “Value-Based Design” at the European Design Forum, a two day conference of high-level discussion, networking, workshops, thought-leadership and inspiration.
June 12 : Director of Strategy and Organization Design, Linda Quarles is leading a breakout session on Radical Empathy at Culture First, focusing on the secret to listening and sharing vulnerably.
June 13-15 : frogSF will be hosting a number of events for SF Design week, including a happy hour on June 14th where Rebecca Blum (Associate Director) will give an encore of her SXSW talk “Death and Legacy in the Digital Age.” Be sure to also catch Ryan Wickre (Mechanical Engineer), speaking on the Synapse panel, “Navigating the Shitstorm of Taking Prototype to Product” on June 13th.
