Visual Designer for frog, Gothenburg
We are looking for a Visual Designer with UX experience, great visual eye and a passion for thinking with your hands to join frog in Gothenburg, Sweden.

What you will be doing?
You will be responsible for the design and orchestration of visual elements in a systemic composition, and you combine design for interaction (UI/UX, design systems and digital products) and design for communication (brand, print, and visual storytelling). As a visual designer you can balance spirit and rationality; brand and product; functional clarity and emotional impact.
You will be working as a part of diverse teams, but you will also need to take responsibilities independently. Learning, delivering what you promise and exceeding expectations matter a lot to you. You know that supporting each other and respecting our wellbeing is an essential part of this.
On a typical project you will:
• Create expressions for mood, tone, look/feel to help clients position their product, brand, or service
• Design the interaction models, wireframes, and visuals for different platforms
• Harmonise utilitarian needs of the user (accessibility, usability, navigation, key features) with more emotional values of design to create unique and distinguished brand equity for the client.
• Collaborate with marketing, brand, strategy, and editorial teams to align from the design purpose to the execution roadmap
• Collaboratively create digital product concepts that push the bar for quality and excellence in a given field/industry
• Work in accordance with a Design System; typography, iconography, colour, grid, and design components
• Support the team with guidance for visual expression
• Craft user interfaces for digital consumer and enterprise products
• Create multi-media artefacts which tell the story of the work in an impactful way
We want you to have:
• At least 2+ years of professional visual design experience (although you might have had a different job title, like “UX/UI designer”, “art director” or “product designer”
• Experience designing creative mobile and web applications
• Strong understanding of user-centred design practices
• Collaborative and client service mindset
• Affinity with frog’s values, and a passion for creating products that meet people's functional and emotional needs
• Fluent in Swedish & English
• And finally, passion for learning, adapting and growing professionally
• Valid working permit for Sweden/EU
It would be a bonus if you had:
• A university degree in Interaction Design, Visual Design or relevant design discipline.
• Experience working in a variety of organisations (start-up, corporate, agency/consultancy)
• Academic, professional, or life experience from outside the design field that enriches your perspective as a designer
