What will you be doing?

The Operations Director is responsible for supporting the frog studio to drive success in growth, operations, and profitability.

This role works with the Mexico City studio’s General Manager and collaborates with frog discipline heads and management teams (including Program Management, Sales, Resourcing, Finance, Marketing, Talent Acquisition, HR…) and Capgemini’s local and international teams (including Operations, Finance, Procurement, Facilities, HR…) to formulate consistent operating plans, strategies and tactics and analyze historical information to make sound decisions that maximize frog’s impact on clients and employees.

The position requires the experience in project management, business operations and finance, and the ability to work cross functionally with other leaders to find operational efficiencies that make life at frog easier and better every day. In this role, you will:


  • Support studio leadership to execute improvement and growth plans across disciplines and studio functions (Talent Acquisition, Marketing, HR, Facilities…)
  • Track and manage business metrics and work with GM to improve overall studio/business performance
  • Engage with frog and Group finance and operations teams to provide visibility of studio performance, invoicing and program status.
  • Act as a key member of the local leadership team, proactively influencing frog and wider Capgemini stakeholders to continuously strike the right balance between frog’s needs and group compliance
  • Manage our Studio Operations staff (including in house Office Manager and external partners), approve day-to-day studio expenses and control studio budgets

Analysis & Reporting

  • Creating and owning a solid and dynamic management reporting framework to track key performance metrics (operational and, where relevant, financial) on a regular basis, including:
    • Key People Data (i.e. Headcount, Pay by Gender by level, average time in role by level, Sales contribution, Date of last salary increase, etc…)
    • Qualitative/cultural survey Data
    • Business Data (revenue, bookings, invoice status, margins, utilization…)
  • Provide meaningful variance analysis that is accurate, insightful, and supports management's decision making
  • Maintain a current revenue spread and update files and systems to reflect the financial health of the studio (i.e. review weekly forecast file)
  • Partnering with local and Group’s Finance functions to provide and maintain a responsive business performance management setup, according to team and group’s KPIs
  • Create custom reports and presentations (as needed) to analyze and validate management decisions.
  • Be the voice of frog Mexico in local and regional forums as needed
  • Maintain and update an Ops Playbook to help others understand processes within frog and Capgemini México/Americas 

Business Development

  • Provide an operational point of view during the business development (sales) process (contracting, staffing, pricing…)
  • Support BD process from opportunity qualification to deal review ensuring compliance with Group requirements

Program Support

  • Passively monitor program health, anticipate potential business impact and support risk mitigation/resolution plans.
  • Participate in qualitative program performance reviews and “post-mortems” to understand how to optimize Operations to positively impact program outcomes
  • Engage with Group Procurement to assist program needs and maintain relationships with key vendors
  • Participate and/or lead resourcing (staff allocation) meetings and make informed recommendations that balance our clients needs with the business and employees needs.

  • Design, creative or innovation related business management experience.

  • Successful in strategic planning and execution, prioritizing time and quickly switching from one subject/context to another
  • Knowledgeable of relevant financial and budgetary practices
  • An excellent communicator
  • Highly skilled in relationship management, displaying flexibility, diplomacy and patience, team focus, high level of emotional intelligence and a strong ability to cut through and deal with ambiguity
  • An expert in process development, project management and implementation
  • Aware of the operational economics of consulting agencies, influencing the financial drivers and ensuring successful operations
